What the fuck is wrong with me these days?

I've got no money, very little food and i'm down to handwashing clothes because I can't afford to wash and tumble dry everything in the extortionatly priced washrooms we have here at brack...but yet somehow, i'm happier living in near povety than I would be at home in Jersey.

Don't get me wrong I love Jersey, but I hate so many of the people that live there now holding their little grudges over things that just don't matter anymore that I'm glad to be away. Of course i miss what few friends I have and they know who they are. Sadly I've lost a few friends recently and a few have moved away but that's fine. I can see those who had the brains to leave now we're all in the same place =D.

I've been watching The Blue Planet narrated by Sir David Attenborough the last couple of days and I'm really loving it. Constantly learning. It's so important to continuously learn and never stop. If you stop learning, you've stopped living. It's as simple as that.

Take My Picture Off The Wall...

"You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist."
- Friedrich Nietzsche

Sometimes I think to myself "What would the world be like without me?" Then i realise there's 6 fucking billion people in this world why would one person matter? Should one person matter? I'm fed up of people being put on pedastals when they don't deserve to be there. They're just a person. You're just a person. Get over it.

In other news, the new Pokemon games are out on the 26th. Fucking win.

On the subject of my homeland...

For those of you who know me, or at least know the Island i'm from this may come as no suprise; I've decided that for the forseeable future I'll be spending as little time as possible in Jersey and this is for a few reasons...The following quote may help explain:

"Jersey is an island. It's nine miles by five. And if you drive *very* slowly, you can take a whole hour to go right round it. But when you get back, there's still the same old restaurants and bars, discos and boutiques. Same sad faces waiting to be faced. Jersey is some kind of prison." - Bergerac.

Over the last few weeks i've spent a lot of time searching for reasons to go back there for good. My few true friends, my family, the dog...but i've come to realise that I can't spend the rest of my life in a patch of granite covered in mud and grass that you can walk around in a day and drive around in your lunch break.

The very idea of spending the rest of my life drinking in the same pub, driving the same roads and seeing the same faces every day makes me shiver. There are some that can handle it, some that even enjoy that feeling of community but I am dreadfully sorry Mum, I'm not one of those people.
